I specialise in HTML5, Sass/CSS, responsive design, typography, styleguides and accessibility.
Why frontend designer? Specialists make the world an even more beautiful place by caring about the little things and working with other specialists to create truly incredible products.
I'm currently the lead developer on a project to unify a major, well known brand through a dynamic, living styleguide that's consumable as a Node module.
I work with a team of talented developers and designers to identify reusable components and create robust modules to then share amongst the wider team.
I love what I do and the people I get to work with.
I learn new things daily to make me a faster, more efficient and productive developer.
I created a living styleguide at Australia Post that included the management of all reusable components within the frontend ecosystem, refactoring and hardening of frontend components and releasing the library as a Node module to consumer within individual Australia Post projects and teams.
I also lead a team of frontend developers in creating the base templates, overall style and frontend guidelines for the new look and feel of Australia Post's digital identity.Visit Website
As co-founder and CTO my role in StageLabel focused on designing and developing the UI for stagelabel.com, cultivating a clean and minimal brand alongside our lead designer and working with our lead backend developer to integrate frontend technology with our AngularJS / Rails backend.
I also built and delivered responsive email marketing templates for StageLabel and helped facilitate extensive user testing to ensure we continued to delivery a product our users are interested in returning to daily.Visit Website
I was invited by Keepers to help develop a new UI for their brand relaunch. The vision for the frontend build included advanced animation triggering, a responsive fullscreen interface, SVG scalable imagery, custom fonts, backwards compatibility to IE8 and more.Visit Website
